About SHPE Puget Sound Chapter

The SHPE Puget Sound Chapter serves engineers, scientists, and professionals in the Greater Seattle area through the concept of professional & technical development, networking and community involvement.

Our Mission

Our mission includes making leaders, mentors and champions who are willing to reach out to the community with enough encouragement to make a difference in those young Hispanic's lives. We are always looking for members who are willing to enhance their skills, improve our community and have fun at the same time.

Chapter Goal

To make SHPE Puget Sound professional chapter a high caliber organization by providing our members with tools that will allow them to be successful in the organization and in their respective careers.

Chapter Objectives

• To work together with other professional Hispanic organizations in the Puget Sound to leverage best practices and support each other in order to become one united voice for Hispanics.
• To provide leadership opportunities that will allow our members to execute on projects that will help them grow their professional skills.
• Expand our financial foundation by reaching out to local companies for partnerships and also by organizing fundraising events so that we can continue to expand our current programs and begin new ones.
• Maintain chapter growth and development by providing events that address professional development, community outreach, and networking.
