Dear SHPE PSC Members,
My name is Bruna Estrada and I am a member of the University of Washington School of Law’s Education Law and Policy Society (Ed-Law). We are an organization that has been working to address the legal issues in education since 2010, and this year are publishing the second volume of our journal style publication . Through this forum we seek to encourage discussion on education issues that impact all Washingtonians.
We publish the work of scholars, attorneys, students (K-12 and higher education), parents, teachers, school administrators, and all those who are impacted by education policies in Washington. With the release of our first volume in April of 2015, we kicked off an exciting new project for Ed-Law. Please check out the online version of our publication at https://uwedlaw.wordpress.com

This year we hope to collect papers from academic sources and students, and short reflections from acting legislators, judges, and policy organizations who have unique insight into the development of education policy in Washington. We are hoping you or someone in your office would consider contributing. Please see the attached “call for papers” for more details.
We are a non-partisan organization and welcome contributions from any organization or individual regardless of party affiliation. Our goal is to grow with each year and would be excited to include a contribution from you in our second volume of the Ed-Law publication.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. As mentioned the attached call for papers can provide more information on submission. Thank you for your time and consideration.
