We are the Exchange team within Outlook Service and we make the #1 enterprise communication server in the world. We are constantly innovating at the cutting edge of technology in the areas of storage, high availability and synchronization.

Roles and Responsibilities:
We’re looking for a technical program manager who can help define and design features that help us build the best synchronization technology and user experience for connecting with third party services.
You’ll need so solve some very technical challenges and work on making our synchronization technology the best in class. You’ll be partnering with various clients as well as partner teams both internal and external to Microsoft to be able to define and deliver a compelling experience.

We are looking for people expertise or interest in the following areas:
Interest in Technical Architecture, writing technical specs. Shipping user experience in one or more products previously is a bonus
Technically Savvy, can write code if needed (choose the language of your choice)
Knowledge of networking and security protocols
Knowledge of Synchronization Technologies will be a bonus
Excellent communication skills and partnering across various organizational boundaries, ability to communicate a message to different audiences – exec vs engineers, customer vs internal

The following are mandatory qualifications:
5+ years of solid program management experience
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Equivalent Experience
Passion for building compelling customer experiences
Ability to synthesize and communicate solutions to complex technical problems

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
