Electrician at Eagle Harbor – Job

The Opportunity:  The Washington State Ferries (WSF) is hiring additional Eagle Harbor Marine Journeyman Electricians.  This is skilled electrical work. Individuals selected for this position will perform work at heights and also in confined spaces, read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical manuals. The right candidates must be able to perform routine and emergency repairs of marine motors and controllers, AC and DC from fractional to 8500 hp as well as marine propulsion generators and alternators, AC and DC to 2500KW.   Eagle Harbor’s hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.  The Eagle Harbor facility is located within walking distance of the WSF ferry terminal.

Our ideal candidate has trouble shooting experience with marine electrical systems.  Per hour rate is effective 7/1/16.

Note: This position is covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the State of Washington and the Puget Sound Metal Trades Council and you will be expected to register with the union within the first 30 days of employment.
