Puget Sound Professional Chapter
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) Puget Sound Professional Chapter is a Washington State 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization based in Seattle, WA. Started in 1986 by founding board members Frank Sánchez, Victor Elizondo, and José R. Bolaños, the SHPE Puget Sound Professional Chapter serves more than 300+ members within the Seattle area. Our chapter is dedicated to empowering Hispanics, Latinx, and allies in the Seattle area to realize their full potential and impact the community through STEM awareness, access, support, and development. In addition to our dedication, our vision is to foster a community of Hispanic, Latinx, and ally leaders across STEM industries in the Puget Sound and Seattle area.
The SHPE Puget Sound Professional Chapter aims to support and empower students, professionals, and those alike through our student outreach, community outreach, and professional development programs and events. With over 15+ events and programs held annually every fiscal year, the SHPE Puget Sound Professional Chapter offers opportunities for all to get involved and become a member. Join our chapter today!
