Puget Sound Professional Chapter

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) Puget Sound Professional Chapter is a Washington State 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization based in Seattle, WA. Started in 1986 by founding board members Frank Sánchez, Victor Elizondo, and José R. Bolaños, the SHPE Puget Sound Professional Chapter serves more than 300+ members within the Seattle area. Our chapter is dedicated to empowering Hispanic community in the Seattle area to realize its fullest potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development. In addition to our mission, our vision is a world where Hispanics are highly valued and influential as the leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.

The SHPE Puget Sound Professional Chapter aims to support and empower students, professionals, and those alike through our student outreach, community outreach, and professional development programs and events. With over 15+ events and programs held annually every fiscal year, the SHPE Puget Sound Professional Chapter offers opportunities for all to get involved and become a member. Join our chapter today!
